The raw data referring to the fiscal period of 2007-2012 come from various revenue reports of 363 companies and business divisions of ICT industry (including more than 300 IT business entities and 40 telecommunication operators), in majority publicly listed on various stock exchanges worldwide. The data come from the reports published until June 30, 2013, so the value of analysis seems competitively actual, compared to the other 2012 reviews.
New DiS report on ICT market worldwide reveals some lists of top winners and top losers. Top 20 losers in IT include entities of various profile. The deepest decrease of revenue as of 2012 revealed Alvarion, a hardware supplier and integrator from Tel Aviv, Israel ( 73.7%). But also social networks could experience a slowdown, what is demonstrated by e.g. weakening progress of MySpace. Another example of losers, within a fashionable area of mobility, can be seen at a decreasing position of Nokia and Research in Motion. Those two seem to struggle and lose with ubiquitous Apple.
